Just came across this – the entire Wolfenstein 3D (Chapters 1-3, there were 6 originally) which you can play in your browser.

The game is complete with the original sound effects and music, plus the levels and secret passages you may or may not have loved.

You can even keyboard map to keys you might have used back in the early 90s! No need for an Adlib or Sound Blaster card! I’m not sure if it supports PC speaker..

Don’t forget, there’s a secret passage at the end of Level 1 which takes you to Level 0 (or Level 10) for some serious score and extra lives. Go and re-live the classic!

LOL @ PC Speaker….

Seriously though, I used Amiga’s at this time. Back then we were playing AWESOME games such as:
Lotus III
Monkey Island 2
Pinball Dreams and Fantasies

… to mention a few. The “3D” of wolfenstein WAS interesting, but I think PC gaming kicked in for me when I was able to play Quake with a 3DFX Voodoo in DOS pulling in over 18 fps at 640×480…

Intelligent Paging using LINQ to SQL and the LinqDataSource control
Undoubtedly, anyone who has evaluated LINQ to SQL has fond it a fairly powerful yet lightweight ORM technology which is less complex than the ADO Entity Framework yet utilizes the strength and power of Language Integrated Queries. One problem with LINQ to SQL is the auto paging feature of the LinqDataSource. Below is a rough GridView which displays three columns, UserName, FirstName and LastName.
